I am a new subscriber and I am so glad I found you. There is so much content online it is hard to find the posts I want to read. Thank you for your work, I will continue to follow.
Helen, welcome! I hear you, it's hard to find an online space that fits like a hand in a glove, that's comforting, and like home. I'm so glad you're here.
For some odd reason, leaving a comment on your last post turned into a circuitous process that I'm not sure I could replicate if I tried. Now that you've given us a handy dandy tutorial, I'll just refer to that if simply hitting "post" doesn't work. :-) It's super fun to be following along as you begin this journey ...
I love that you provided some instructions since joining new online spaces isn't always so intuitive. I look forward to reading and thinking about your thoughts and wonderings here.
Okay, I found you here and will try to leave my first comment in your new space! Please keep us posted on whether you enjoy substack more or less than regular blogging. It seems to be the "in" thing to do, but I'm still watching from the sidelines for now. :)
Lisa, I'm glad you're here. Your familiar voice is music to my ears ... I think you're my oldest (longest time together!) blogging companion. We've been through a whole lot of changes and adjustments over the years. But my commitment to blogging remains stronger than ever even though the 'delivery system,' as Tim calls it, has changed.
It was super easy to leave a comment, as easy as commenting on a blog post! I'm glad you're still committed to sharing your wisdom and love with us because I (among many) am still eager to hear from you! :)
Lord willing, I'm not going anywhere else anymore! Without the underlying constraints and concerns of my old place, I feel a freedom in blogging that I've not experienced before. It's kinda hard to explain but I think you know what I'm saying. I'm grateful.
Yay, you did it, girl! I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that you're here. I know you're going to bring a whole lot of wisdom to the table. Thank you so much for going the 2nd mile with me. It sure isn't the first time.
Wow, you already know more than I do about examining metrics for a post! Good work! And I realized this morning that all my old Substack newsletters are still visible. With my old delivery system there was no history available to the reader.
Having those old newsletters available is like saving our favorite cards and magazines to skim through yet one more time. Love that your archive is out there for all your people to see, Michele. You always offer a rich feast ... so much meat on the bone to gnaw on. (Maybe savor is a more pleasant description!)
Wow. Whoever would have guessed. This is one of those times I wish we all knew the original Hebrew and Greek. Our faith would be so much richer for it, wouldn't it.

Thanks so much for sharing this information with Sweet Tea & Friends this month sweet friend.
It's been more complex for people to register and comment than I thought ... but I think we're over the learning curve. Yay!
Congrats on your new space!
Amy, I'm so glad you're here!

Well, look at that. It worked! :-)
Thanks for going the 3rd mile to connect here, friend. I'll always try to make it worth your while.

Kate, welcome! And yes please to detailed instructions for all of us who are technically challenged. I'm the first to raise my hand on that one.

Great way to address the questions and concerns :)
I hope it's been helpful and clarified a few details.
Hopefully I have passed the “leave a comment” test.
Have a good, colorful rest of the week, friend.

Eugene Peterson plays with that “gnawing“ image in reading scripture. Apparently the Hebrew for meditate is akin to gnawing.
And I heard or read somewhere that 40ish percent readership was very good for a newsletter so that makes you STELLAR!
Your tutorial is much appreciated, Linda. Thanks!
I needed it more than anyone!
gnawing = meditating
Wow. Whoever would have guessed. This is one of those times I wish we all knew the original Hebrew and Greek. Our faith would be so much richer for it, wouldn't it.
Squandered opportunities to learn biblical languages = one of my regrets
It's never too late, my friend.
You’re right!
What a great intro. It will be lovely!
Jeanie, we've just met but I can sense that you're a born encourager. I'm so very grateful to have you onboard.
Thanks for the little tutorial! I could not figure out how to get it to work last week!
Oh I'm glad it helped, Joanne. I know it can all be a bit daunting. Thanks for not giving up on me. I really appreciate it
Linda, I love your new blog site. It has a clean and modern look. However, I also loved the old site. Much success with all of the navigation.
Blessings,
Pam
Yeah, it's a bittersweet move after 15 years, Pam. Thanks for coming along with me, friend ...
Linda, I love your new space and Grace & Space is just beautiful.
Paula, thanks. Your words are a validation that this was the right thing to do.
