Linda, this post resonated tremendously with me. I believe it was God that helped me find you very early on in my Substack journey and that gave me such a positive impression of this place.

I love what you share from your heart, so much I can agree with! I will be sharing your wisdom with my readers. You, my dear, are a gift!

Such precious encouragement today listening to your voice reading these impactful, calming words. I feel the same exact way and found myself agreeing with all you said. I quote Acts 17:28 so often! And I am caring less and less about so many things that used to completely wreck me. I pray you have wonderful travels and look forward to hearing from you when you are back online. I will miss you! God be with you!

You've said this so powerfully, friend, 'I am caring less and less about so many things that used to completely wreck me.'

Makes me wonder what the cost has been to our emotional and physical health when we allowed those people/places/things to impact us to such a great extent.

Your words humble me.

"More than ever, ‘in Him I live and move and have my being’ (Acts 17:28). I’m unencumbered by woulda, shoulda, coulda’s. It’s an awesome place to be." Yes, Linda! Thank you for this encouraging reminder. I always find encouragement here. :) Have a wonderful time making precious memories at your granddaughter's wedding! Love and blessings!

I remember when everything was worth getting all worked up about! Oh, how I wish I had sent that energy somewhere else!

We’re learning by living…

Enjoy every minute with your people!

(We have 25 coming for supper on Saturday night and I am thrilled !)😁

I absolutely agree with you, Michele. Gosh, I wasted a whole lot of energy and it'd be fair to say that my ranting and raving didn't do much to help any of those situations. I love what you said about learning by living. Ain't that the truth.

25 for supper. Wow. Whatcha cooking, girl?

More often than not, I sit quietly on the sidelines. Cheering, rejoicing, contemplating all the comments. But what a blessing it is to gather here with you - and the lovely group of ladies that join you. This space is such a joy - thank you. I am joining with in letting go of much....as I look at life in view of eternity. This change of perspective and maturing faith is wonderful. I hope you have a wonderful time with all your travels and the packing the goes with it!! Soak it all in! Blessings to you -
