Amy, thanks! I can't wait to see the 'real' photos from the photographer, who, interestingly enough, somehow managed to keep himself almost invisible the whole day.
These pictures were delightful. I love how sometimes pictures speak so well, and even a writer doesn't need so many words to express the joy. What a blessing to see these beautiful pictures. May God bless this marriage and this new family formed.
Simply beautiful!! Beautiful bride. Happiest groom (love his photo!). Beautiful dresses. I love that the dress are different but all the exact same color!! Love the yellow and blue. And absolutely love the memory table - such a sweet idea. No photos of you in your pretty dress?? Thanks for sharing some of the memories. Hope they fill your heart for months and months to come:)
Jennifer, you perfectly captured the day with the words you've shared - beautiful, happiest, love, memories. Thanks for celebrating with us, friend. I hope the week ahead is lovely for you.
This is all so lovely, Linda. What a beautiful family you have. I wonder what such an occasion might be like for my girls ... I guess we'll see what God might have in store. :-)

How beautiful! They are so lovely
In Christ's sweet name, two hearts unite,
A bond of love, pure and bright.
A covenant sealed, a promise made,
Through trials and joys, their love will stay.
With vows exchanged, their souls entwined,
A love eternal, of every kind.
Supported by faith, a guiding light,
Their love will shine, day and night.
May God's grace forever be their guide,
As they walk together, side by side.
A love that's true, a love that's deep,
May their happiness forever keep.

Oh my gosh they'll be beautiful brides ... and if they're happy, you'll be happy. But it'll be ok if you cry. But that you already knew.
Such a beautiful bride and the joy expressed in these photos is precious! How wonderful for you all to enjoy such a wonderful occasion!
Good Monday morning to you, friend. And yes, the joy is palpable. Seriously.
What a beautfiul bride and joyful occasion! You had to be just over the moon. Thank you so much for sharing these and taking us along.
Jeanie, over the moon says it all. And I still feel like I'm having an out of body experience.

Etched. Perfectly put, Pam. You're absolutely right, friend.
All the hopes and all we dreamed,
all the promises we made
as the turbine engine screamed
to turn the helicopter blade.
Lovely smell of kerosene,
nav lights set to flashing bright
as on darkling air we lean,
hurricane, clear summer night.
Chaplain there to hear the vow,
then unite us as a team
that's grown stronger up to now,
twenty years on balance beam
that's defined this weird-ass life...
I'm really glad Barb is my wife.
I'd love to hear Barb's take on that kerosene-fueled, turbine screaming wedding day ...
She gets it. Long time back, in another galaxy, I tried to bring some heroes home. We knew they were alive, but could not find them. Can't say more.
She dries my tears of guilt and shame.
'She dries my tears of guilt and shame.' Awesome. How blest you are.
What a beautiful family!
You're sweet.
