You found some interesting things to share with us! Thank you for all you do with us in mind. I always find such edification here and never fail to leave your spot feeling refreshed in spirit. God bless you!
So much good content here, Linda. That last one about aging ... wow! Moving daily, not "fixating on" cutting out certain foods, viewing aging as a privilege ... this is all how I want to be as I get older.
I just jumped over to the stats on the piece on aging had the most clicks. I'm pretty sure that matches with the demographic. It's always interesting to see what draws people's attention ... and what hits with a thud.
It's nice to have you back, Linda! I hope your time with your family was delightful and restful. I was drawn to most of your links. Thank you for sharing your findings with us. We appreciate your generosity and hospitality!
Church Kitchens Getting Chopped intrigued me - as bigger churches encourage small group gatherings so that ministry doesn't just happen in a church setting - the baker in me sees that maybe it is a good thing - to sit over our own kitchen tables with food cooked from our own stoves, breaking bread with people who need the love of Jesus. Thank you for sharing the link!
Wow, Linda. You do such a great job choosing these links. I've got at least 4 extra tabs open right now to read some of your recommendations. :) Thank you for curating these for us.
Oh my--there are more than a few that caught my eye: Invitation to Watercolor, Literary Hospitality, Platform without Pride, and Habits of Those Who Age Well. Will look forward to the wisdom and inspiration these writers have to share!
One of these days, I'd love to take up that "Invitation to Watercolor." Perhaps my granddaughters (ages 8 and 12) would like to experiment with me. The "Platform without Pride" was a bullseye. I have been in the bad habit of checking my stats several times a day, and would either be elated with better-than-average numbers, or discouraged when the number of hits decreased. I'd already decided in early March to quit this bad habit for Lent! The article confirmed the decision, and gave me more (pointed) reasons for letting go of a counter-productive practice! Now I'm checking just once per day; further whittling away may very well be in my future!

That photo of the eggs is exquisite. Simple, elegant, personal. I love it. And thanks for coming by the other day, too!
My grandchickens lay the most beautiful eggs.
The books sound interesting! Have a great week!

Wow, Maryleigh. How many of us are hungering for this depth of connection ... and we don't even know it.
Theology of work by KSP is so good.
Yeah. And I can't wait for the book to come out!
Me either!
