Oops! Make that APPRECIATIVE in my above comment! As for feeling more rested and refreshed before packing is complete? I guess we chalk that up to Murphy's Law!
My first instinct is NOOOOOOOO!! I will miss your posts so much! But I surely understand. As you know, I take many breathers throughout the year, and I make no apology for any of them. God's will be done in our lives just the same as it is in heaven, where all are in accord with His plan. Enjoy every moment with your loved ones, and know that, Lord willing, we will be here waiting for you when you return. Sending lots of love to you today!
Thank you so much, dear friend. Would it be okay if I email you? I would text, but we use a flip phone, and emailing is a lot quicker. I definitely want to keep in touch with you.
Time with family always nourishes my soul. All these years later, I've never gotten used to them living so far away. I often find myself thirsty for their presence ...
Wow! We seem to be on the same vibe. I love JOMO! I have to laugh though because just recently I told my peeps that I did not have FOMO but I do have a bit of PTSD FOF (fear of falling) LOL! Enjoy your break! We all need refreshing from time to time.
Well, yeah, it makes absolute sense that you'd have a bit of fear of falling after what happened. I've learned this is a very real thing from friends who have taken a hard, unexpected tumble. Be kind to yourself in the healing process, Meema.
Sending have a restful and relaxing break Linda. See you when you're back. Love you ❤️
Thanks so much for sharing with Sweet Tea & Friends this month my friend.
Relaxing is the key!
Enjoy your time with family! And enjoy your respite, Linda.
Lisa, thanks.
Enjoy your break!!
See you later, friend.
I'll be doing the same thing the second week in March when family visits. I will be in full JOMO! Blessings, Linda!
Maybe we need the prompt of family time or the yearning for spring to release us from those routines we've held tightly to all winter ...
Enjoy your time away! I hope it is the refreshing and rejuvenation you need, along with in-person connections with your family and friends.
Cindy, thanks! I'm packed and ready to go.
i understand the need for breaks and silence and family and self care but know you will be very missed. Take care, friend.
'the need for breaks and silence and family and self care'
Just saying that spelled out is good medicine, friend ...
Enjoy your time away. 🧡
Mel, your recent words about stepping back a bit were helpful in making this a reality.
I hope you have a lovely break, dear friend. Will look forward to your return, whenever that may be.
Please keep in touch re: your writing we talked about, ok?
I get it. As a highly sensitive person, I have to frequently disconnect to recharge. See you when we see you. I hope you savor this pause.
Thanks for the nudge to make this choice more often. I get caught up in the whirl of the weekly routine, ya' know?
I don't have this down perfectly, by any means. I'm a work in progress and will continue to be until Jesus calls me Home.
We your faithful and appreciate readers will miss you, Linda, but support you 100%! May this be a sweet time of rest and refreshment.
I already feel more rested and refreshed and I haven't even finished packing. Go figure ...

Trudy, thanks, dear girl. Just making the decision to pull back relaxed me more than I had expected ...

I am very familiar with this feeling. Drink deep of their presence while you can!
