I am so far behind in my blog reading, as you can see, and I just wanted to drop by and say that I hope you are enjoying your break! I know you will come back to us recharged, invigorated, and full of good things to share. Much love to you today, sweet friend.
Good for you, Linda. I've been thinking...do I quit and shut every thing down (even after I just updated to a better theme just 4 months ago)? So I'm figuring it out, but knowing you take a breaks to refresh and recalibrate somehow makes me feel better as I navigate this time. Blessings to you! Enjoy the budding of your spring season!
Dear Lynn ... Knowing we can come and go as we please is a lovely freedom. Figuring out what we want to do (and why) in our spaces gives us joy and releases creativity to blossom in new ways. The good news is that we can reinvent ourselves. Please know that if you shut down you will be missed ... but 'we make it our goal to please Him' and therein is the greatest satisfaction of all.
Please keep me in the loop, dear one. Praying that His discernment will be yours ...
I can't believe how time flies, Linda. 6 months already! I'm so glad it's working out for you here. I love the pic of you on the swing reaching your toes to the sky. :) Love and blessings of a rejuvenating break!
It's such a blessing when we trust in the Lord and let him lead. Congratulations on your blogging and pressing on. There is so much tech to navigate these days.
Enjoy your time away! I wish I felt the same level of comfort here - but I can’t seem to get the hang of it. Maybe I’ll have more time in the summer. Be well, friend!
Oh Barbara, you have so much beautiful truth to offer us all. You know I adore your work. If I can somehow walk with you a bit in getting going, please let me know in May. Please don't let all the options intimidate you. Just one simple post at a time. It'll be worth it.
My goodness--that's a lot of gerunds detailing your normal activity!! You're very wise to take a break, LInda. Rest and refresh yourself (but we WILL look forward to your return)!

You're never late around here, Cheryl. I'm kinda quietly sneaking through the back door, writing in my sleep, but taking my time in the process.
Happy 6 month anniversary Linda. You sure are a gentle, enthusiastic companion on my journey.
I appreciate you sharing this with Sweet Tea & Friend April Link up.
Paula, thanks, girl.

Just coming back from a short (and very restorative) break myself so I’m late getting eyes on this post. I will MISS connecting with you!
I'm a text away, right?!

Believe it or not, not too long after that pic was taken a few years back the swing broke and I flew to the ground. And that was the end of the swing!

Tracy, thanks. You're so right about all the tech stuff ... it sure can steal our joy and sap any creative energy we have.
Enjoy this time of rest and renewal! May you come back with new hope and energy and always with God's love in your heart!!
Always always with God's love in our hearts, yes!
May this be a wonderful time for you!
Joanne, thanks.
May this time away be restorative and full of joy!
Restorative and full of joy. Exactly. So well said, Sue ...
Enjoy your time away!
I will!

Thank you for your kindness 💕
Congratulations! I'm so glad that you have been happy with your decision. It's lovely. Celebrate being unplugged. Sometimes it is a very good thing!
You're right. It IS a very good thing. Why are we so reluctant to actually do it?!

Gerunds. Wow, I don't think I've heard that word since I was little. I forgot it even existed!
It's one of those words that's still rattling around in my head after spending 20 years teaching 4th grade language arts! 😁
How has it already been six months?!!! I hope your break is all that you need and want it to be, my friend.
I know, right?
Blessings on your break, sweet friend! We will be here when you return, refreshed!
June, thanks for those little words of blessing.
Enjoy your unplugged days Linda!
I need them!
