Taking snapshots of life’s simplest pleasures is my therapy of choice. Capturing the serendipity of random daily moments and tucking them into a special corner of my heart brings a freeing, calming kind of joy. The 12 glimpses shared today remind me that each week God leads us into an array of often unexpected and sometimes solitary experiences that give us cause for pause.
Yet another reason for praise.
An unexpected gift. A solitary walk. A tender moment. A cool surprise. A vintage treasure. A delicious nibble. A story unfolding. An answered prayer. A ray of hope revealed.
#2, #5, and #6 are taken by one of my 5 uniquely gifted granddaughters. And #4 pictures her younger sister weaving a last minute dessert to pop into the oven. Watching the next generation discover and nurture their giftedness warms my soul.

This is going to sound really stupid, but there are people driving to this place...to ask for my blessing.
