Not to us, LORD, not to us but to Your name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness.
- Psalm 115:1
Hey there, dearest Grace & Space friends ~
Yep, that’s a year end sunset on Cape Cod Bay. Christmas night to be exact. And what a year it’s been.
I’m not all that obsessed with online stats, but as I did a few quick calculations this evening, I’m a bit surprised at the sheer gift 2024 has been. Thank You, Lord. This space, this online community, these kindred spirits who gather here are answers to years of prayer. This is all Your grace, Your work in our lives, Your unmerited favor.

One of the fascinating (and potentially unsettling realities) about stats is that they can be subtly twisted to say what you want them to say, which is a very good thing to keep in mind as you track news reports, political drama, financial updates, and cultural trends. I was a bit surprised at how many categories I could pull out of my sleeve and each one would produce yet another highlight.
So here we go, from verbal hugs to the preachiest to the biggest yawn and the most this and that. It’s a pretty accurate sampler of who we are and what we value … individually and as a diverse, worldwide community of women and men who love Jesus.
As we move ahead into 2025 would you please do me a big favor? Take two minutes and tell me what you want to see here in the year ahead. I truly try to pay attention to the Spirit’s nudges as well as the needs and interests you bring to the table. Our time and energy are valuable and non-refundable and I want to make the most of every opportunity we have.
Please weigh in, ok?

You’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse … do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.

I agree with the others I love you and your space. You show us such grace that we can share our vulnerability with you and each other. I always have a pause and reflect take away from your messages.
